Ellipse was founded in April 2001 , with the backing of the Princes Youth Business Trust. The partners Emily Baker (who graduated from Writtle College in 1999 with a BSc Hons in Landscape and Garden Design) and Karl Shippey (who graduated from Writtle College in 2000 with a HND in Landscape Construction), combined their knowledge and skills, with the aim of providing a high quality service to both the domestic and commercial landscape and garden market.
